How many books can I check out?
Students in Kindergarten can check out one book. First through eighth graders can check out 2 books.
How long can I keep my books?
Students can check out books for two weeks. If a student would like to keep a book longer, the student should renew the book.
What happens if I have an overdue book?
Students with one overdue book will not be able to check out another book until the overdue book is returned.
What happens if I cannot find my library book?
Students who cannot find their library book will be expected to pay to replace the lost book. However, if the book is found after it has been paid for, bring it to the library and a refund check will be issued.
When can I come to the library to exchange books?
The library is open daily from 7:20 - 2:45 for students to check out books as needed. Most teachers send students to the library as they need more books. It is the student's responsibility to make sure he/she has library books. At times throughout the day when a media class is going on, there may be a sign posted that the media center is closed for check out. If that is the case, students should take note of the time it will reopen for checkout and return at that time.
